From 1999 ESCA has promoted the Ingliston Bike Blast, a series of evening introductory events for young people aged 10 and above together with novices. The Bike Blast is a introduction in a safe, friendly environment with the emphasis on fun and enjoyment.

The Bike Blast is such a success that the series will be repeated in 2002.

• Criterium racing for experienced riders
  

Where?

The Royal Highland Showground, Ingliston, Edinburgh.
Enter from Gate 1 -sign posted from Edinburgh Airport approach road off A8. Good parking facilities available.

What do you need?

• Serviceable bike
• helmet
• parental consent form

It is also advisable to take some warm and waterproof clothing to put on between events. Snack bar and toilets available.

Each evening starts with registration from 6pm and events from 7pm. No pre-entry required, just turn up on the night.
